Job description

We are seeking a Technical Artist on a contract basis to assist with building of 3D simulations of people, places, and things for computer vision synthetic data. This role is 100% remote.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the engineering and technical art teams in defining and developing content
- Perform content validation & quality verification of 3D objects across multiple content sources
- Assist in building of simulation features & content verification tooling
- Develop broad technical expertise to assist in a wide variety technical and artistic tasks
- Quickly solve issues with cross-functional leads
- Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in working with Unreal Engine, Python, and Houdini
- Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills; communication across teams including engineers and artists
- Proficient ability to work independently and manage ones time.
- Proficient in game profiling and optimization techniques
- Experience shipping products with stringent runtime performance constraints, such as complex mobile or 3D applications or AAA games
- A Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience required
- 3-5 years of experience
