Job description
Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager on a contract basis to support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Lead datacenter decommissioning efforts, ensuring safe and efficient shutdown and removal of hardware.
- Manage the launch of new datacenters, coordinating logistics, equipment deployment, and configuration.
- Oversee P2 retirement projects by planning and managing the transfer of services and decommissioning of relevant infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and operations teams to align on project goals and timelines
- Implement comprehensive reporting on project progress, identify risks, and define mitigation strategies to ensure milestones are met on time.
- Communicate status updates to stakeholders, providing transparency on project health and addressing any issues promptly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in CS or similar domain
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management or a similar role within or adjacent to datacenter operations
