Job description
Our Customer is a Silicon Valley-based company that is engaged in researching emerging technologies.
We are seeking a contract Technical Program Manager who will be responsible for managing complex technology projects with aggressive schedules to deliver the projects on time. This includes figuring out innovative processes for efficiently planning, implementing, and delivering Digital Health projects. You will possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and an ability to influence business and technical leaders to contribute to the continued success of Digital Health. Be passionate about the projects and delivering quality products in a timely manner. You should be highly motivated with a strong technical background in program management. This role is on-site in Mountain View, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Work with global teams to ensure that technology integration projects are delivered as per the requirements with high quality and on time.
- Identify stakeholders by collaborating with cross-functional teams (product management, software engineering, executives) across multiple geographies.
- Use effective project/program management techniques to work closely with stakeholders to define scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
- Own end-to-end project delivery with a focus on on-time and high quality. Define and track project deliverables by working closely with stakeholders.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify risks, issues, and contingency plans.
- Communicate status and dashboards on a regular basis with the stakeholders on a structured status report and presentation slides.
- Correctly represent the urgency of issues and escalate issues appropriately.
- Lead and drive process change and improvement.
- Develop and manage program schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Contribute to R&D efforts by creating high-value products that address unmet enterprise market needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent.
- 10+ years' professional experience in software engineering program and project management.
- Experience in building mobile and web applications.
- Understanding of building products in digital health
- Demonstrated experience working with technology partners (of all sizes), to deliver software solutions & projects involving multiple stakeholder teams.
- Full understanding of how to manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from idea inception through development and launch.
- Ability to generate and present professional presentation slides and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience communicating effectively across disparate organizational structures and multiple management levels.
- Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous environment while prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to successfully facilitate collaboration across multiple functions, departments, and levels and serve as a role model for teamwork.
