We are seeking a Technical Program Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This individual will drive the overall release planning schedule and partner with key internal engineering teams to implement additional engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate release planning for internal and external release cycles
- Ensure that a scheduled release happens as planned
- Identify the blockers if any for a release and follow up with the right Engineering team to unblock it
- Escalate a release delay if it goes beyond the pre-defined guidelines for delays (SLA) and coordinate this process with the rest of the engineering teams to resolve it
- Drive any additional engineering projects to completion by planning tasks in Jira and coordinating with engineering teams.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Technical Program Management field
- Solid understanding of software release and version management and CI/CD workflow.
- Experience in Incident Management
- Solid planning and project management skills
- Communication & Relationship building
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Driving process at scale in medium to large software companies
