Technical Program Manager, Release Systems (100% Remote)

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This individual will drive the overall release planning schedule and partner with key internal engineering teams to implement additional engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate release planning for internal and external release cycles
• Ensure that a scheduled release happens as planned
• Identify the blockers if any for a release and follow up with the right Engineering team to unblock it
• Escalate a release delay if it goes beyond the pre-defined guidelines for delays (SLA) and coordinate this process with the rest of the engineering teams to resolve it
• Drive any additional engineering projects to completion by planning tasks in Jira and coordinating with engineering teams.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in Technical Program Management field
• Solid understanding of software release and version management and CI/CD workflow.
• Experience in Incident Management
• Solid planning and project management skills
• Communication & Relationship building
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Driving process at scale in medium to large software companies
