Job description

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager on a contract basis. In this role with the Assistant team within AR/VR, you’ll plan, execute, and deliver the AR/VR enterprise goals of placing AR/VR solutions in the hands of consumers and businesses.

**This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Redmond, WA office once it is determined safe to do so.**

What you'll do:


  • Ensure Product Data Operations (PDO) ownership of the data collection process by driving requirements and execution of collections to produce high-quality results across all surfaces and locales.

  • Ensure PDO ownership of data intake process by clearly communicating organizational priorities

  • Collaborate with PDO to drive quarterly Data Intake reviews and escalate any risks to ongoing projects as/when necessary

  • Track & communicate Assistant operations management across all components including improvements around budget efficiency.

  • Collaborate with teams on data collection logistics (procurement, shipping devices, etc)

  • Create, track & maintain SOW, RFP, invoices

  • Setup & maintain Assistant Data Foundations wiki/documentation

  • Drive sprint execution plan across Data Foundations planned OKRs

  • Hold individuals accountable for landing deliverables that ensure team OKRs are met across & proactively resolve/escalate risks

Must-Haves: 


  • 4+ years of project management experience

  • Knowledge of end2end data pipeline strongly preferred

  • Previous data collection, data operations, data labeling/annotation experience preferred

  • Prior experience around sprint planning & execution highly preferred

  • Leadership skills such as leading meetings, conflict resolution, decision making, and risk mitigation skills, precise verbal communication in a highly cross-org setup preferred

  • Prior experience handling large scale ambiguous trackers, dashboards, SOW, RFP, etc

  • Ability to articulate well with written communication skills to create & maintain well-defined wiki’s

  • Experience multi-tasking working across organizations with multiple teams including vendors on multiple products concurrently

  • Software/Hardware integration experience in a consumer electronics environment

  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

  • Basic knowledge of data pipeline - collection, grading, annotation, tooling

Education: 


  • Bachelor's degree

  • PMI or PMP certification preferred

Hours & Location: 

M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Redmond, WA office once it is determined safe to do so.
