Job description

Our Customer is an American financial services mutual organization based in Milwaukee. The financial security company provides consultation on wealth and asset income protection, education planning, retirement planning, investment advisory services, financial planning trust and private client services, estate planning and business planning. Its products include life insurance, permanent life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance; annuities; investments; and investment advisory products and services.

Our customer is looking for a Technical Recruiter on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, and selecting top talent for technical positions within the organization. Additionally, you will assist with processing PERM visa cases, ensuring compliance with relevant immigration laws and regulations. This role is 100% remote.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with your team to identify technical staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of PERM visa cases, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and documentation
  • Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and assess candidates’ technical skills and qualifications
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams, ensuring a smooth efficient hiring process
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidates interactions and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in immigration laws related to PERM visa case processing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as HR and legal, to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new hires
  • Provides an exceptional candidate experience, both internally and externally, throughout the hiring process to promote the company
  • Works cooperatively with all members of the team to assure all work is completed in an efficient manner and operates with some degree of independence

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably in the technology industry
  • Familiarity with PERM visa case processing and knowledge of relevant immigration laws and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
  • Sound knowledge of all state and federal laws and regulations regarding Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action is highly desirable
  • Ability to learn and navigate tools and systems such as customer relationship management (CRM), applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter and similar resume databases
  • Strong sourcing and candidate evaluation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
  • Sound knowledge of all state and federal laws and regulations regarding Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action is highly desirable
  • Ability to learn and navigate tools and systems such as customer relationship management (CRM), applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter and similar resume databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities that require attention to detail
