Job description

We are seeking a Technical Sourcer on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for finding new talent to bring to an organization.
- Work closely with recruiters, cross-functional partners and hiring managers to deeply understand requirements of the role, the function and how it fits into the organization
- Strategize different ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns
- Find, engage and activate passive candidates through the use of Boolean, LinkedIn and alternative search techniques
- Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine basic qualifications
- Recommend and drive improvements that impact local pipeline areas
- Build and share knowledge of skills, target companies, conferences, and open-source communities with recruiters and hiring managers
- Innovate and drive diversity sourcing strategies using various tools to help influence clients
Must Haves:
- 3+ years sourcing experience with a search firm or in-house recruiting team with a focus in software engineering, data science, machine learning, technical product/product design or other similar functional areas
- Experience working with and building sourcing strategies
- Experience developing and executing candidate generation and research techniques, including use of recruiting platforms/databases and various sourcing tools
- Experience identifying and approaching passive candidates
- Interest in diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) advocacy
- Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Expert knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, and training.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be able to provide examples of sourcing strategies and where talent pipelines are created from
Other Skills:
- Ability to work pro-actively in an independent as well collaboratively in a team setting
- Proficient in basic software skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), video conferencing tools and Cloud Drives (Google Drive, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of legal policies and standard procedures related to hiring practices
- Basic knowledge business and management principles involved in strategic planning
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent training required.
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while COVID restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at our Customer’s Sunnyvale, CA office once it is determined safe to do so.
