Technical Sourcer (Remote - EST/CST)

The Mom Project is excited to support our customer with their search for an experienced Technical Sourcer to join them in a contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively source Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, and Infrastructure / Security talent across 15+ countries
• Partner with technical recruiters and engineering leadership to understand tech stack requirements and build target company lists
• Execute advanced sourcing strategies, including GitHub, StackOverflow, online communities, and competitive mapping
• Conduct technical calibration sessions and provide market insights on availability, seniority benchmarks, and compensation trends
• Pre-screen candidates for technical relevance, motivators, and language fit
• Own candidate engagement, nurture pools, and deliver structured weekly pipeline reports
• Collaborate on diversity sourcing strategies to broaden the top-of-funnel

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years sourcing technical roles in-house or agency (Startups or global orgs preferred)
• Familiarity with modern tech stacks (Java, Python, React, Cloud, Data, etc.) and ability to differentiate core vs. niche skills
• Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, StackOverflow, sourcing, or other platforms
• Experience engaging talent across multiple time zones/countries
• Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach at scale

Hours and Location

• Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
• This role is remote between Eastern and Central time zones
