Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Technical Writer on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Organize material and complete documentation for planning processes according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
- Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, and content.
- Assist in publishing materials in Agile and Training portals for global users.
- Work with demand, supply planning, and production planning personnel, and become familiar with planning, production, and product fulfillment methods.
- Understand the demand and supply planning processes within the advanced planning tool - O9 to translate that into end-user documentation (including video tutorials).
- Develop or maintain online help documentation.
- Support AI search efforts within the organization.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with Atlassian Confluence for documentation or project collaboration
- Experience with O9, S4 HANA, Agile, or similar ERP and product lifecycle management systems
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat and SharePoint
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain records and revision history
- Ability to work cross-functionally with planning and operations teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation updates
