Our customer is seeking a Manufacturing/Engineering Technician on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% Onsite at Fremont, CA.


Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented Technician to join our team, focusing on the final testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical equipment.
  • You will ensure the quality and functionality of machines before they leave the assembly line.
  • This position requires a strong aptitude for diagnosing issues, performing electrical tests, and refining testing documentation.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in electromechanical equipment
  • Conduct basic electrical testing, including measuring voltage, resistance, and continuity, and perform isolation testing on sensitive equipment
  • Execute scripts and queries via a command line interface
  • Maintain existing test and troubleshooting documentation
  • Interpret functional schematics and circuit diagrams
  • Analyze CAN network data for system diagnostics
  • Identify and report known and new issues with great attention to detail

Qualification:

  • 2+ years of similar experience with electromechanical systems
  • Demonstrated triaging and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with electrical testing and the use of hand tools
  • Experience with CAN bus tools and data logging systems
  • Familiarity with command line interfaces
  • No drivers license needed.
