Job description
Ropers Majeski’s growing and dynamic litigation practice has an opportunity for a Technology and Business Litigation Attorney with a minimum of eight years of substantial litigation experience to join any of our Bay Area offices.
Responsibilities will include representing high-technology clients involved in intellectual property litigation and helping clients navigate business challenges and other high-exposure litigation.
The position offers flexibility to work remotely or in any of our Bay Area offices.
Founded more than 70 years ago, Ropers Majeski maintain offices internationally and throughout the United States.
Skills and Educational Requirements
- JD Degree
- Minimum of eight years of solid experience working on litigation matters (plaintiff or defense) involving product liability, trademarks, trade dress, patents, copyrights, and related matters
- Demonstrated experience in the technology sector working on intellectual property litigation
- Ability to handle litigation from inception to trial, including preparation of pleadings and briefs, managing discovery and depositions, and conducting legal research, analysis, and writing
- Second-chair trial experience
- Experience with both state and federal court proceedings
- Current CA Bar admission in good standing is required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $250,000, commensurate with experience
