We are seeking an innovative and highly motivated A/B Testing Specialist to manage the A/B and multivariate testing roadmap and intake process on Converse global digital properties to optimize shopping journeys and increase conversion. This role supports the testing & optimization strategy, actively managing our testing processes, roadmap, educating business partners on tests in the market, gathering test requirements across Global and Geo teams, and collaborates on in-depth post-test analysis and readout. The candidate will provide day-to-day testing and optimization support for business partners in Merchandising, Marketing, Experience Strategy, Analytics, Product Management, and Technology.
**This role can be fully remote. Candidates must be willing to work EST hours. Preference for those in our Customer’s Boston, MA location.**
What you’ll do:
- Own the management of the testing intake process, working with cross-functional business partners to develop clear and measurable business and testing objectives.
- Manage the active testing queue, roadmap, and backlog. Determine what tests can ‘go live’ when, based on other in-flight tests, their run time durations, and what tests are coming down the roadmap pipeline.
- Leverage creative, strategic, and analytical skills to discover insights from available sources, including Adobe Analytics, AB Test platform, reporting database, system logs, and more to provide actionable test results.
- Work closely with A/B Testing vendor and product team to see through test implementations, audit test results, and successfully deploy completed test results to the live site.
- Partner closely with the Digital Analytics team to conduct deep dive, statistical analyses on test results to ensure significance and validity.
- Be able to tie together multiple data sets into a solid, scientifically accurate model using a consistent methodology (created by the digital analytics team).
- Act as an ambassador for testing, by previewing tests as they launch, monitoring test health, and alerting key stakeholders of updated test results and issues.
- Assists project manager in the facilitation of project work breakdown sessions.
- Formulates initial project schedule; maintains project schedule with minor oversight from the project manager.
- Assists project manager in the collection of key project metrics and health/progress indicators.
- Assist the project manager with defining project resource requirements; maintains project resource plans.
- Supports project manager to execute project communication plan (internal and external); provides status communications and project health/metrics reporting.
- Manages project cost estimates; compiles project budget data based on actual versus forecast hours for accounting purposes.
- Defines risk management plan, analyzes risk for criticality, probability, and impact.
- Develops risk mitigation strategies, assigns owner and actions.
The ideal candidate must have:
- 1-5 years experience in statistical analyses in a professional or enterprise workplace.
- Proven experience in managing and organizing workflows, documentation, project backlogs that require involvement with business partners or participants outside the immediate team.
- Ability to effectively manage work across organizational boundaries to get things done in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional ability to analyze data with different statistical models to reduce noise, glean insights, call-out exceptions, verify integrity, and derive next step recommendations.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and planning skills; demonstrated success in communicating ideas to various stakeholders.
- Prioritizes workload, managing multiple and often competing tasks, and meets deadlines for various and fluctuating deliverables.
- Outstanding team player and positive attitude, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Experience with digital testing platforms (e.g. Monetate, Optimizely, Adobe Target, Evergage, etc) and digital analytic tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) is preferred.
- Experience in working with a formal project management methodology.
- Proficiency in excel and data analysis, with statistics, experience a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field with involvement with statistical analysis.
Hours & Location:
- M-F, 40 hours/week. This role can be fully remote. Candidates must be willing to work EST hours. Preference for those in our Customer’s Boston, MA location.
