The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, a financial technology leader and bank holding company with a mission to power the banking industry’s branchless future.


We are seeking a contract Third Party Risk Management Coordinator to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is remote - EST preferred.


The Third-Party Risk Management Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that external vendors, suppliers, and partners adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively. The coordinator will support risk management processes, maintain documentation, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed reviews of third-party agreements and associated risk assessments
  • Perform reputational and financial risk evaluations of third parties
  • Monitor third-party compliance with internal policies and industry regulations
  • Maintain and update the Third-Party Risk Management system of record, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Identify potential risks and escalate concerns to senior risk management personnel
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, BSA/AML, Information Security, Legal, and Compliance, to evaluate third-party profiles and ensure appropriate controls are implemented
  • Track and report risk assessment status, identified issues, and remediation efforts to relevant stakeholders
  • Support internal and external audits related to third-party risk management
  • Stay current on regulatory changes and evolving industry best practices


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review complex documentation and risk data
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with risk assessment tools
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years related experience in Fintech/BSA/Risk Management
  • GRC tools experience
  • Internship or academic coursework in risk management or compliance
  • Familiarity with third-party risk management frameworks
  • Openness to grow
