Job Posting: Part-Time Trademark Paralegal

Location: Remote or Hybrid (depending on firm preference)

Schedule: Part-Time (5–10 hours/week)

Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Available: Immediately


About Us:

We are an established business firm in New England seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Trademark Paralegal to support our trademark prosecution, portfolio management, and enforcement activities. This role is ideal for someone who is

organized, proactive, and experienced in trademark matters.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file trademark applications, renewals, declarations of use, assignments, and other USPTO filings.
  • Conduct preliminary trademark searches and prepare reports.
  • Assist with office action responses (non-substantive).
  • Maintain and monitor docketing deadlines for domestic and international trademarks.
  • Communicate with clients, foreign associates, and the USPTO.
  • Assist with enforcement tasks, including cease-and-desist letters and monitoring watch notices.
  • Organize and maintain trademark portfolios and related documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of trademark paralegal experience (USPTO experience required; TTAB experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding of trademark filing requirements and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with trademark docketing software (e.g., Dockettrak, CPI, Alt Legal, DIAMS, Foundation IP, etc.).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritize efficiently.
  • Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid environment.
