Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Training Coordinator on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Peachtree Corners, GA.
The Training Coordinator will manage logistics and operational projects for the Commercial Enablement organization. This role will interface frequently with stakeholders to deliver high-quality logistics, process improvement initiatives for operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop plans for travel for Commercial Enablement programs, including but not limited to: flights, hotel, transportation, VISA requirements, and more.
- Work with the Travel Agency to provide a seamless process for travelers, while maintaining close attention to cost
- Proactively analyze cost and seek opportunities to reduce spend
- Optimize the attendee list process
- Manage programs: forecasting, scheduling, and reserving systems/trainers, and other program support
- Ensure adequate administrative needs for all programs
- Effectively manage the forecasting of attendees, capacity constraints, and budget for all department needs
- Manage learning technology application as needed (such as scheduling exams and pulling reports in Questionmark, setting up Qstream questions, updating learning hub with information for learners, creating tickets for LMS program assignments)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of professional work experience in coordination, project management, or customer service required
- Viewed as an expert in the department in the field of Operations. Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to the development of department goals and principles, and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Has complete knowledge of all department procedures and may be tasked with the development of new projects.
- Acts independently to determine methods and procedures for new or special assignments.
- May supervise the activities of others.
- Has expert-level knowledge of department administration, logistics, and operations. Translates best practices to new and tenured employees. Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
- Provides direction to others within the department and is often sought after by various cross-functional departments. Sometimes tasked with introducing new projects to Leadership.
- Anticipate risks and roadblocks before they occur; take proactive steps to reduce impact
- Effectively resolves issues or problems so that there is minimal escalation required
- Routinely removes obstacles for the team
- Addresses current and future opportunities and issues to ensure sustainable success
- Effectively balances organizational, team, and individual needs in decisions taken
