Job description

Our Customer is a leading provider of alternative and specialty parts to repair and accessorize automobiles and other vehicles with operations in North America, Europe, and Taiwan. They offer their customers a broad range of replacement systems, components, equipment, and parts to repair and accessorize automobiles, trucks, and recreational and performance vehicles.


We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to accurately process and account for the inflow/outflow of various financial transactions, reconciling accounts, settling foreign exchange and other derivative products, and ensure that payments are made timely and with correct approvals.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for accurately processing and accounting for the inflow/outflow of various financial transactions (including but not limited to wires, ACH, checks, credit cards, PayPal).
  • Ensure payments are made timely and with correct approvals.
  • Responsible for daily cash concentration and determining the daily net cash position.
  • Collaborate with Regional Controllers, Plant Managers, and Accounting Managers regarding the management of day-to-day banking activity (including but not limited to cash management, check processing, credit card receivable processing, armored car use, centralized and local disbursements, etc.)
  • Confirm and settle spot and forward interest rate or currency trades/Back office.
  • Work independently (and as part of a team) to standardize processes related to the efficient flow of cash with consistent, auditable controls.
  • Maintain and order merchant processing numbers for credit card receipts.
  • Maintain PCard records, including users, approvers, and spend limits.
  • Audit and maintain accurate check signers.
  • Audit and order checks and deposit slips for field locations.
  • Assume other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years related Treasury experience.


Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.
  • Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others, and make presentations to the department or middle management.
  • Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
  • Decisions generally affect own job or the assigned functional area.
  • Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.
  • Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.


Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse frequently.
  • Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements).
  • Must be able to lift upto 25 pounds.


Hours and Location:

  • M-F 40 hours/week
  • Hybrid in Chicago, IL (one day in-office/week)
