Enforcement Specialist, Marketplace Safety

The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for an Enforcement Specialist, Marketplace Saftey to join them on a contract basis.

About the Team:

Etsy’s Content Compliance Team is tasked with protecting Etsy’s marketplace by meeting regulatory compliance and ensuring the items sold on Etsy do not lead to physical harm. Our team is composed of 9 people located throughout the United States primarily operating on a Monday-Friday 9am-5pm EST schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding and enforcing certain sections of Etsy’s seller policies.
• Utilizing Etsy’s internal tools to review digital content within listings; removing or triaging content that is not appropriate for Etsy.
• Communicating efficiently and accurately with sellers about enforcement actions
• Assist with the timely review and triage of emails to their appropriate queues.

Skills and Competencies:

• 1+ year of experience in content moderation, fraud investigation, or other e-commerce risk management experience
• Ability to work well both independently and within a team structure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable providing and receiving feedback as a regular practice

Hours and Location:

• Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
• Remote anywhere in the US
