Job description

We are seeking a contract Underwriting Assistant to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (onsite 3 days a week) in Broomfield, CO.


Responsibilities:

  • Helps enter new business applications, initiate renewal application processes, process term letters and distribute applications to support the underwriting process.
  • Reviews correspondences, records, and reports on select routine matters for processing to ensure the team remains compliant.
  • Assists in running pre-defined statistical reports on new business and renewal applications processed to inform underwriter managers on the current business.
  • Processes and scans documents for record and files them electronically to ensure easy access for review of appropriate underwriting documents.
  • Helps prepare monthly renewal and anniversary reports for managers to determine new and existing business opportunities.
  • Maintains the procedure manual to help team to determine rate classifications and assigns rates to pending applications

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA preferred
  • Relevant work experience
