We are seeking an Underwriting Services Assistant on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in Broomfield, CO.



Responsibilities:

  • Support underwriting operations by processing entry-level tasks such as binds, endorsements, and cancellations
  • Manage and triage incoming emails within a shared inbox, routing requests appropriately
  • Work primarily from internal queues and Outlook to manage daily workload
  • Review and process underwriting documentation with a high level of accuracy
  • Collaborate with team members during training and transition to independent work upon gaining authority
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and internal processes
  • Maintain organized records and documentation of transactions
  • Contribute to a high-volume, production-driven environment


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow structured processes
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work within a team
  • Self-sufficient with the ability to manage tasks independently
  • High level of dedication and reliability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in insurance or underwriting support roles
  • Experience working in a shared inbox or queue-based workflow
