Job description

A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract University Talent Partner/Recruiter who thrives in a challenging, high-volume, fast-paced environment. This person is innovative, strategic, and agile in driving and delivering an inclusive and awesome experience for all, including candidates, teammates, and business partners.



Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment: Partner with HR, business leaders, and senior leadership to drive recruitment strategies by applying innovative approaches and leveraging technology to attract top talent in a competitive market
  • Program Management: Lead end-to-end management of early career talent programs, including summer internships and entry-level hiring, ensuring smooth execution of all recruitment activities
  • Measurement: Track, analyze, and present recruitment metrics and process outcomes to assess effectiveness and inform strategic improvements
  • Branding: Collaborate with recruitment marketing and campus engagement teams to enhance the employer brand and value proposition for early career talent
  • Selection: Utilize university partnerships, recruitment technologies, social media, and creative sourcing strategies to identify, attract, and hire top candidates while building a long-term talent pipeline
  • Communication: Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive, inclusive experience and compliance with employment law


Qualifications:

  • 2 years of professional experience
  • At least 2 years of end-to-end recruiting experience in a fast-paced, corporate environment
  • Strong consultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, collaborate, and influence across all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and leverage the strengths of individuals and teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized, with strong documentation and tracking skills


Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA)
  • At least 1 year of experience in technical recruiting for manufacturing talent (hourly or salaried)
  • Experience in campus, entry-level, and/or hourly recruitment programs
  • Familiarity with recruitment and sourcing technologies such as Workday and Paradox


Hours and Location:

  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
  • This role is hybrid (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays onsite) in Warren, MI
