Job description

We are seeking a UX Design Manager on a contract basis to help our Customer's create engaging, user-friendly, and accessible digital experiences. This role is a hybrid setup (onsite 2 days a week) in New York, NY.

This role will design a state-of-the-art interface for our existing Equity, Strategy and Commodity calculation system (T3) that is used by the Operation team to effectively configure, monitor, compute and use to disseminate key indices.

What You'll Do:
  • Conduct user research, create user personas, design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups, and test and iterate on your solutions
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, and to deliver solutions that meet or exceed them.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system, guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in UX design, human-computer interaction, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of proven HANDS-ON experience as a UX designer, working on web and mobile applications.
  • A portfolio of UX design projects that demonstrate your skills and process required.
  • Proven proficiency in UX design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar required.
  • Experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of UX design principles, methods, and best practices, such as user-centered design, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/React/Angular) to effectively communicate with developers
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • A passion for solving complex problems and creating delightful user experiences.
  • Experience working in an Agile development process is a plus.
