Our Customer’s mission is to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Through their family of apps and services, they are building a different kind of company that connects billions of people around the world, gives them ways to share what matters most to them, and helps bring people closer together.
We are seeking a UX Designer on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This role brings behavioral concepts to life through world-class interaction design, motion, and visual craft. This role focuses on designing interfaces, motion systems, and cohesive visual experiences that make complex learning content intuitive, aesthetic, and human.
You will collaborate closely with learning designers, writers, producers, and engineers to create engaging and accessible experiences across multiple formats — including interactive learning journeys, microsites, chatbots, and short films.
Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end learner flows and interactive interfaces for mobile, desktop, and in-product environments.
 - Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that visualize narrative flow and user logic.
 - Conduct usability testing to validate interaction patterns, tone, and accessibility compliance.
 - Apply inclusive design and accessibility standards across all deliverables.
 - Develop cohesive visual systems, including color, typography, and layout, consistent with brand design principles.
 - Translate scripts and storyboards into layout and interface compositions for course modules, microsites, and chatbots.
 - Build and maintain component libraries and design templates to scale visual consistency across learning experiences.
 - Design animations, transitions, and microinteractions that enhance comprehension and emotional engagement.
 - Collaborate with editors, producers, and engineers to ensure design fidelity through production.
 - Create dynamic visual assets for films, learning simulations, and tutorials.
 - Partner with the design systems team to expand motion and interaction patterns for learning.
 - Advocate for usability, accessibility, and aesthetic excellence across all learner touchpoints.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree preferred in Graphic Design, Digital Media, UX/UI Design, or a related field (not required).
 - 3–4 years of experience in visual design, UX/UI, or multimedia design, preferably within tech, creative agencies, or learning environments.
 - Strong proficiency in Figma, After Effects, Illustrator, and Premiere.
 - Demonstrated experience in UX design and visual storytelling across digital environments.
 - Deep understanding of accessibility, responsive design, and user testing principles.
 - Portfolio showcasing both motion design and interface design work.

Preferred:
- Experience working with LMS platforms, SCORM/xAPI, or other interactive learning frameworks.
 - Understanding of behavioral design or learning science principles.
 - Familiarity with 3D tools or lightweight prototyping code.
