UX Designer (100% Remote)

We are seeking a UX Designer on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Build web and mobile demo prototypes, proofs of concept, and interactive user flows that bring technical research to life through 3D experiences for general audiences
• Create visual assets using brand design toolkits while integrating technical narratives with a focus on 3D demo accessibility
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear visual narratives and user experiences that resonate with general audiences
• Conduct UX testing to gather feedback on requirements and features and incorporate findings into iterative improvements
• Collaborate closely with technical research teams and cross-functional partners in branding, communications, and marketing to remove blockers, achieve milestones, and ensure successful launches

Skills and Qualifications:

• Portfolio required upon application
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Master’s degree preferred
• 5-10 years of UX/UI design experience, including design thinking, prototyping, proof of concepts, and visual design
• Experience building 3D interactive demos, webpages, and educational content
• Strong experience in visual storytelling and translating technical concepts for general audiences
• Strong understanding of LLM capabilities, potential, and limitations
• Proven ability to design 3D interactive web demos, build high-fidelity prototypes, and design deliverables
• Expert-level proficiency in Figma
• Strong ability to create user flows and visual assets aligned with brand systems
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with highly technical and cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong organizational and information-architecture skills preferred
• Ability to work remotely across PST, MST, CST, or EST time zones
