Job description

We are seeking a UX Researcher on a contract basis to support Growth product teams in delivering user-centered solutions. This role is 100% remote - West Coast working hours preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize user research needs
- Design and execute qualitative user research studies, including interviews, usability testing, concept evaluations, and focus groups
- Analyze research data and synthesize findings into clear, actionable insights
- Present research insights to stakeholders in a concise and impactful manner
- Maintain research documentation in accordance with UX research reporting standards
- Ensure compliance with data protection standards throughout research activities
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX research
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience conducting end-to-end UX research in technology-driven environments
- Strong proficiency in qualitative research methods, including usability testing, concept evaluations, and in-depth interviews
- Ability to design studies that evaluate both user behavior and attitudes or perceptions
- Strong collaboration skills working with product managers, designers, engineers, and cross-functional partners
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Preferred:
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with UX research reporting standards and documentation practices
- Understanding of data protection and compliance requirements
- Awareness of UX research industry trends and best practices
