We are seeking a UX Researcher on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
This role operates at the intersection of product development, AI strategy, and brand growth, supporting high-priority and strategically significant initiatives.
The ideal candidate serves as a strategic partner to Product, Brand, and cross-functional stakeholders, bringing clarity to complex challenges and translating consumer and product insights into actionable business strategies.
This role requires strong engagement across the full research lifecycle—from framing the right questions and integrating product usage data with UX research and additional inputs, to ensuring insights reach the right stakeholders at the right time.
Resilience, adaptability, and comfort operating in ambiguous environments are essential. While the primary focus is product-driven research, the role also requires strong brand acumen and an understanding of how product experiences shape overall brand perception. Success depends on balancing visionary leadership with hands-on execution.
The Senior Marketing Insights Researcher will deliver insights that inform both near-term launches and long-term brand health, working closely with stakeholders and leadership while driving cross-functional research initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary insights partner for high-visibility product launches, ensuring research informs go-to-market and brand strategy
- Translate key business questions into comprehensive learning agendas and research plans
- Prioritize and refine research requests to ensure the right strategic questions are being addressed
- Design and execute high-impact quantitative and qualitative research including foundational audience research, campaign development support, creative and message testing, and GTM evaluation
- Analyze and synthesize product usage data, UX research findings, and additional data sources to develop cohesive strategic recommendations
- Partner with UX Research, Data Science, and Marketing Analytics teams to align on research planning, execution, and measurement frameworks
- Influence decision-making, GTM planning, and goal-setting through compelling communication with stakeholders and leadership
- Proactively identify emerging research opportunities and strategic risks to help navigate ambiguity and undefined challenges
- Leverage AI-powered research methodologies to accelerate insight generation and enhance marketing measurement innovation
Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, or strategic consulting
- Strong expertise in designing and executing both quantitative and qualitative research programs
- Proven ability to translate complex research findings into clear, actionable business recommendations
- Experience embedded within marketing or product teams with demonstrated influence on strategy and decision-making
- Strong ability to synthesize insights from multiple data sources into holistic strategies
- Experience solving both ambiguous, undefined problems and clearly scoped research questions
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as SPSS, R, Python, or SQL
- Experience with survey design and programming tools such as Qualtrics or SurveyMonkey
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in brand building, brand strategy, or product marketing
- Experience supporting AI products, features, or technology marketing initiatives
- Experience within social media, entertainment, or consumer technology industries
- Experience collaborating closely with UX Research, Data Science, and cross-functional product teams
- Familiarity with brand health tracking, preference research, and longitudinal tracking studies
- Strong fluency in AI-powered research tools and agent-based research workflows
- Master’s or PhD in Marketing, Psychology, Communications, Social Sciences, Statistics, or a related field
