Job description

We are seeking a UX Researcher on a contract basis. For this role, we are looking for a quantitative or strong quant leaning mixed-method researcher, who is a strategic thinker, comfortable navigating ambiguous/complex domains, and has excellent XFN communication/collaboration skills.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define research goals and needs.
- Execute research and analysis from start to finish for the Brand Safety sub-pillar.
- Develop and execute appropriate research which could include, interviews, surveys as well as run data analysis.
- Contribute to product strategy.
Must Haves:
- 1+ years of conducting product UX research experience
- Extensive experience with generative, iterative, and evaluative research methods
- Experience with quantitative (e.g., survey design and analysis) research methods
- Experience building meaningful cross-functional relationships
- Effective communication skills with experience presenting to diverse audiences
Preferred Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Cognitive Human Factors, or a related field
- 3+ years of conducting product UX research experience
- Experience combining qualitative and quantitative user data into cohesive insights
- Experience in experimental design and familiarity with statistical software packages (SPSS, R, etc.)
Education:
Master’s Degree (MA/MS in Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Anthropology, Cognitive Human Factors, or MBA) or 3+ years research experience in a related field
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be remote while Covid restrictions are in place. The expectation is to be onsite at the Seattle, WA location once it is deemed safe to do so.
