  • Contribute to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market plan
  • Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in a human behavior-related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics
  • 5-7 years of experience in qualitative research execution and delivery, able to partner closely with other researchers and cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on qualitative research (focus groups, interviews, etc.)
  • Mixed method experience (both qualitative and quantitative (surveys)
  • Market research or UX/design background
  • Hands-on experience in designing, executing, analyzing, and delivering qualitative research. Experience with research vendor management.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Solid experience partnering with cross-functional partners (PM, DS, PD) and delivering results to less research-savvy audiences.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Experience with data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses
  • Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences
  • Experience with autonomy and decision-making to balance demands

Qualifications:

  • Statistics experience
  • R and Python experience
  • Large tech company experience/research agency. Research teams in bug corporations
