VC Audit Manager (100% Remote)

The Mom Project is excited to partner with Sensiba in their search for a VC Audit Manager (100% Remote).

What You'll Do:

• Manage and Lead a team working on client assignments and projects simultaneously
• Teacher/mentor to staff members – help them develop strategic goals in line with department goals and manage/monitor workload
• Contribute to the conception and execution of firm initiatives
• Contribute to business development efforts, assisting with proposals and building a network
• Responsible for ensuring that clients understand the complete scope of their accounting, tax, and business issues
• Anticipate issues, plan for their resolution and ensure appropriate and timely execution of the engagement plan
• Create technical memos and develop/lead training on specialized technical issues
• Manage engagement budgets, communicate change orders
• Identify client needs and opportunities to better serve our clients
• Develop more efficient job processes and expanded services utilizing the talents of other Company specialists, technology, and automated processes.

Must-Haves:

• BS in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in public accounting or fund administration
• CPA license or equivalent experience
• Solid research capabilities to understand advanced accounting issues
• Strong analytical aptitude and application
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, and Accounting software (They use CCH products; Pro systems, and FX Engagement) is desired
• Experience working closely and directly with clients
• Proven success in supervising multiple client assignments simultaneously
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Ability to coach and develop other professional staff
• ?Venture Capital and/or Private Equity, Hedge Fund experience

Compensation Range: $130,000 - $160,000
