We are seeking a Vendor Management Associate on a contract basis to help support our customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Vendor Management Associate plays a critical role in coordinating and managing vendor users within proprietary localization tools, as well as maintaining approved vendor resource databases. Approximately 80% of this role focuses on executing core operational and transactional tasks, including reviewing vendor onboarding requests, performing validations, and completing data entry with a minimum accuracy threshold of 97%.
This position supports Procure-to-Pay processes by ensuring supplier data accuracy, compliance, and payment integrity, contributing to efficient and reliable vendor operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the global Supplier Master System, including tax, banking, contact, and payment details
- Review and approve supplier onboarding requests in alignment with internal controls and compliance standards
- Execute supplier profile updates, including critical data such as tax IDs, bank accounts, and legal entities
- Perform detailed validations to ensure data accuracy and prevent duplicate or defective records
- Communicate with global suppliers to collect documentation, resolve discrepancies, and support onboarding and maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and automate Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows
- Support Supplier Master Quality Assurance by validating data and compliance requirements prior to approval
- Track, prioritize, and resolve issues impacting supplier data quality and operational efficiency
- Maintain and update process documentation, SOPs, and onboarding procedures
- Ensure all required supplier documentation (tax forms, banking details) is complete, accurate, and compliant
- Support risk management by enforcing tax regulations, payment policies, and managing holds due to incomplete or invalid data
- Contribute to process improvements and operational initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0-2 years of experience in supplier management, procurement, accounts payable, or related fields
- Strong experience in supplier/vendor management, including end-to-end onboarding and maintenance
- Proven ability to maintain high data accuracy standards (e.g., 97%+ data quality)
- Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and compliance controls
- Experience with supplier master data management, validation, and governance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
- Experience managing large datasets and performing data validation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience working with global stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Experience in identifying process improvements and driving operational efficiency
- Experience working in fast-paced or large-scale (e.g., big tech) environments
- Familiarity with risk management, audit, or compliance functions
- Proactive mindset with the ability to challenge and improve existing processes
