Job description

Our client's claims team relies heavily on vendors for technology and adjusting claims. Proper oversight and accountability of the vendors are critical to our success for expense management, adjusting efficiency, and the customer experience. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in claims processes, analytics reporting, and coaching and influencing others that do not report directly to them. This role will be instrumental in designing and building a scalable claims organization to support our clients rapid growth. This role requires a self-motivated, high-energy individual who can efficiently function in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan and build a scalable Claims Vendor Management Program:
  • Selection and Contracts
  • Vendor discovery and exploration
  • Compare and assess products
  • Contract negotiations
  • Hold vendors accountable for SLA’s and Quality
  • Billing Review
  • Manage vendor relationships, resolve problems and streamline processes
  • Build robust QA program for vendors
  • Define, measure, and analyze KPIs
  • Provide feedback and build action plans for vendors
  • Ensure we are providing unparalleled Customer and Agent Experience with proper KPI’s and reporting

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of P&C claims leadership experience
  • At least 5 years of managing or working closely with claims vendors
  • Proven leadership skills, including direct or indirect problem-solving skills and management of a team of claims professionals
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills; strategic thinking
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of an organization
  • Experience with program and project management, owning end-to-end delivery
  • Strong business acumen across multiple practices including IT, Vendor Management, P&C Insurance, Contracts Management, and Operational Risk Management
  • The high degree of comfort with business and technology language
  • Self-motivated person who can embrace and drive change
  • A wide degree of creativity and innovation is required
