Office Location: Open (Remote/Home Based)

Position Description:

The purpose of the Vertical Lead - Healthcare vertical & Food & Beverage business is to develop and grow relationships with major clients within the healthcare vertical & food & beverage business to increase revenue. Seeking a highly energetic individual with a hunter mindset to drive net new sales activities, gather intelligence on customers and competitors, generate leads, perform follow-ups with key accounts and write formal proposals.

Major Areas of Responsibility/Essential Functions:

· Drive and expand revenue growth opportunities with major accounts in Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Medical device manufacturers and the Food & Beverage businesses.

· Exercise ability as a powerful closer with a consultative, relationship-first sales approach. to proactively cultivate high-trust partnerships with key decision-makers.

· Leverage existing industry networks to identify potential new accounts and drive net-new business expansion opportunities.

· Use analytical foresight with compelling communication to develop long-term client loyalty and repeat business.

· Understand the competitive landscape and develop business strategy to capture market share.

· Distinguish rf IDEAS as the leader in the radio frequency identification marketplace through effective selling strategies.

· Maintain detailed technical knowledge of products and service offerings to ensure that the needs of the customers are constantly being met.

· Visit client locations periodically to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.

· Manage sales pipeline for run-rate activities & business development projects, provide sales quotations and respond to requests for proposals.

Specific Responsibilities:

· Develop a strong understanding of Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Medical device manufacturers and the Food & Beverage businesses:

o Underlying business segments.

o Value proposition of rf IDEAS cards reader portfolio, authentication technologies and solutions for each business segment.

o OEM embedded strategy and IAM solutions.

o HMI & PLC integration.

· Implement business strategy to identify key business segments and drive new project opportunities for revenue growth.

· Engage prospective customers and channel resellers through presentations, site visits, and tradeshow participation.

· Actively seek sales opportunities with direct customers and channel resellers through quoting activities and pre-sales consultation.

  • Develop business plans and sales strategies for assigned accounts and markets.
  • Prepare action plans for an effective search of sales leads and prospects.
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
  • Assist in providing timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
  • Manage the growth and strategy of largest major account.
  • Attend trade shows and communicate effectively with customers, partners, prospects, and vendors in order to enhance the image and reputation of rf IDEAS in the technology marketplace.
  • Coordinate and plan GTM strategy and needs to serve market with Marketing.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Relevant background and a proven track record within the Healthcare vertical, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare Device Manufacturing & Food & Beverage businesses is preferred.

· Knowledge of the use of proximity or contactless credentials for authentication, access, security and productivity.

· Experience in hardware and software is preferred.

· Skilled in major account management and developing business with potential new partners.

· Ability to sell within a technical environment.

· Excellent presentation and communication skills.

· Proficiency in all Microsoft products.

· Familiarity with CRM software, NetSuite a plus.

· Can work and manage in a channel driven market.

· Ability to travel 50 to 60%.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, technical related field, or marketing.

· 7+ years of sales, business development or technical related field experience.
