Job description

Our client is a DIY resource for women homeowners focused on educating women to be smart, capable, and confident in managing their homes. Services include online classes, brand partnerships, speaking, media contribution, LIVE classes and Handy Woman services in the Philadelphia area.

They are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to join the team - knowledge and interest in Do It Yourself projects is a plus!

Title: Marketing Manager
Status: 7-10 hrs/wk, 6 months to start with expectation to be ongoing if mutually agreed upon
Hourly Rate: $25 - $40/hr, commensurate with experience
Priority: Experience managing YouTube sites, CRM/Email Marketing, and Tube Buddy

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize YouTube marketing and growth (Tube Buddy exp a plus)
  • Maintain and manage email marketing (Simplero-based CRM and membership site plus)
  • Create social media content calendar and schedule posts
  • Proofread and schedule weekly email newsletter
  • Manage social media accounts – FB, IG, LI
  • Gather and organize data for statistical analysis
  • Create funnels and automations
  • Schedule Zoom meetings, download recordings, and post to Google Drive
  • Maintain back end of Word Press website – download backups, monitor and troubleshoot issues

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, such as Word and Excel
  • Proficiency in WordPress
  • Familiarity with Simplero
  • SEO
  • Familiarity with Canva graphic software program
  • Knowledge of marketing, advertising, and sponsorships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task
  • High-speed internet connection
