Job description
We are seeking a Virtual Office Manager role to join our Operations team. In this multifaceted role, you will address a broad range of office administrator type inquiries including phone and fax management, insurance verification, and supporting with office record organization and ensuring that our virtual clinic runs smoothly.
Additionally, as a key and valuable member of the team, you will also collaborate with the care team, which includes care advocates, dietitians, therapists, psychiatrists and primary care providers. You will serve as the front line support to our provider team-navigating scheduling needs, fax support and other administrative activities.
What that will look like day-to-day:
Enable quick and efficient access
- Be a point of contact with members to help them understand what care at our company means and how it works
- Facilitate quick access to care through helping members understand their covered benefit or cost when accessing coverage through their health plan
- Respond to incoming phone calls or member chats to answer questions, or schedule appointments
- Resolve issues with member invoices and alleviate confusion around any outstanding billing items
Empower us to deliver quality care by supporting operational administrative work
- Assist with day-to-day operations including fax support, billing inquiries, and other administrative issues
- Support and improve provider administrative workflows
- Own ad hoc operational efficiency projects as needed by the Strategy and Operations
What we’re looking for
- Minimum of 2 years working experience in a healthcare environment or health tech start up
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication
- Ability to multitask in a digital health environment
- Experience working with electronic health records
- Experience working with diverse communities, including across diverse identities including race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic background
