Our Customer is seeking a Warehouse Program Coordinator on a contract basis to supervise and administer inventory movements and material control within their warehouse facilities. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with the internal best practices, food safety, regulatory standards, and inventory management protocols. This role involves orchestrating warehouse activities and personnel, promoting team evolution and performance management.


The ideal candidate will also ensure that warehouse operations meet the facility's demands, guaranteeing efficient inventory flow and precise reconciliation. The chosen individual will facilitate accurate and timely dispatches of ingredients, packaging, and samples to the internal innovation labs while emphasizing safety best practices and robust inventory control via SAP.


This role is on-site in Atlanta, GA.


NOTE: Candidates must have their own laptops; the customer is not providing laptops to contractors at this time



Responsibilities:

  • Oversee site warehouse operations to ensure fulfillment of ingredient and packaging supply requirements
  • Ensure optimal functionality of storage systems, receiving processes, and internal supply operations
  • Manage SAP-related processes to support inventory reconciliation, material flow, and system communication
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by supervising inventory entries, exits, and cycle count activities
  • Perform and oversee regular cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory records
  • Strategically allocate and distribute operational resources to support storage capacity and operational plans
  • Enforce warehouse safety protocols and ensure compliance with safety best practices
  • Support audit readiness and ensure compliance with Food Safety Program guidelines, corporate standards, and legal requirements
  • Respond to internal customer inquiries related to warehouse activities and provide high levels of operational support
  • Monitor and support warehouse process efficiency and operational effectiveness

Skills/Qualifications

  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading warehouse teams
  • Strong background in warehouse operations and inventory management
  • Experience with SAP systems and inventory control processes
  • Knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain operations
  • Strong organizational and operational coordination skills
  • Ability to manage inventory accuracy and reconciliation processes
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of safety compliance and warehouse operational standards
