We are seeking a Web Marketing Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Web Marketing Specialist is part of the Web Marketing team and assists with the administration of the marketing websites via web content management systems. This position works with business partners and stakeholders to ensure websites remain timely and accurate sources of information, presented in a user-friendly format. This position ensures brand and quality control of web properties by conducting editorial reviews and regular testing of website pages and components. This person may work independently or collaboratively in support of the overall marketing team to ensure projects and tactics are completed smoothly, accurately, and delivered on time. The position requires strong organizational and time management skills, experience with project management, and proficiency with website/blog content management systems, combined with meticulous attention to detail and dedication to excellence. This person should be able to simultaneously manage diverse web projects in a busy production environment while upholding digital best practices and delivering prompt, personable service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day maintenance and content updates for branded, consumer-facing websites and landing pages
- Collaborate with marketing, enrollment teams, and partner stakeholders to ensure content accuracy, alignment with goals, and optimal user experience
- Conduct regular site audits to ensure quality control and functionality
- Serve as web administrator for assigned partner websites, ensuring brand consistency and strong online presence
- Aggregate and maintain localized content, including family and staff profiles
- Ensure all website content adheres to established style guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Develop and maintain content reports, document libraries, training materials, and supporting documentation
- Support the implementation of SEO initiatives across website properties
- Analyze website performance and digital marketing data to identify trends, insights, and optimization opportunities
- Ensure all website content meets accessibility standards, including ADA 508 compliance
- Support departmental and organizational objectives through additional assigned tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in website marketing or digital marketing roles
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a plus
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Understanding of basic design principles and image optimization for the web
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Technology, or a related field
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
