Job description

We’re hiring a hands-on Web Producer to lead web design projects. You’ll be working directly with the founder and serve as the day-to-day client contact. You'll be turning ideas into clear plans, keeping schedules tight, and coordinating design/research to deliver on time. If you love crisp meetings, clean follow-ups, and rolling up your sleeves to make great creative work happen, we’d love to meet you.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain project plans, timelines, and dependencies in Google Docs/Sheets.
  • Run weekly standups; prep agendas, capture decisions, owners, and due dates.
  • Serve as day-to-day client contact; lead status calls and send concise recaps within 24 hours.
  • Triage scope/questions independently; propose options, impacts, and recommendations.
  • Consolidate client feedback (Docs/Figma comments) and translate into clear tasks.
  • Coordinate designers and researchers; keep sitemaps, wireframes, and research activities on track.
  • Track risks/issues; surface early with mitigation plans and owners.
  • Maintain the single source of truth in Google Drive (structure, naming, permissions).
  • Light production support as needed: light QA checks, asset wrangling.

Qualifications/Skills

  • 3–5 years in web/digital project management or web production within an agency or similar multi-client environment
  • Primary client-contact experience: leads status calls, drives agendas, and writes clear follow-ups/recaps
  • Builds and maintains project plans/schedules; manages dependencies and keeps timelines real
  • Confident triaging scope/questions and proposing options/trade-offs without constant escalation
  • Expert meeting facilitation, note-taking, and tasking (decisions, owners, due dates, next steps)
  • Translates ambiguous client feedback (Docs/Figma) into actionable tasks and keeps a single source of truth organized
  • UX research coordination basics (screeners, recruiting/scheduling, consent, note-taking)
  • Strong written and verbal communication; concise, diplomatic, and client-ready
  • Excellent self-management across multiple concurrent projects in a part-time context

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.

If you are a person with a disability needing assistance with the application, or at any point in the hiring process, please contact us at support@themomproject.com.

Screening Questions

  • In 1–2 sentences: what’s the difference between a producer and a project manager to you?
  • Describe your level of familiarity with user experience (UX) design and research.
  • Say a multiple clients provide us with conflicting feedback on a design. How would you handle that?
