We are seeking a Web UX Designer on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA, or Peachtree Corners, GA.

This role involves transforming website and digital application marketing requirements into compelling interactions and website designs that deliver measurable business impact. You will identify what actions are necessary for users to take during an outbound web experience to ensure mutual benefit for both the user and the company, and translate these requirements into a compelling, highly usable experience while maintaining alignment with brand standards and a global design system. This role is directly involved in creating wireframes, user flows, and visual design prototypes. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud is required for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Create wireframes at the requirements level to determine structure and function before visual design, with a forward-thinking, usability-focused view towards Visual Design.
  • Understand Key Performance Indicators and design to achieve specific user behaviors, contributing to the Design System with strong documentation skills along the way.
  • Understand Information Architecture and apply User Research and User Testing findings to designs; may participate in User Testing and adapt designs based on feedback.
  • Work with global marketers, creatives, product owners, and executives to translate requirements into meaningful interaction design for web properties, balancing creative requirements with business needs and deadlines.
  • Consistently communicate effectively across varying organizational levels

**Must have a portfolio at the time of submission

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in graphic design, User Experience (UX/UI), or similar; or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of related experience designing for an in-house digital marketing team
  • Advanced knowledge of the latest design tools, including Figma and Adobe CC
  • Ability to work within established visual guidelines and frameworks
  • Strong visual design skills - typography, color theory, and composition
  • Working knowledge of and history of practical application of User Research and Testing techniques
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
  • Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - must be able to articulate the rationale for every design decision
  • Clear understanding of how to prioritize and optimize work based on business needs and timelines in a large enterprise
  • Excellent self-management skills
  • Must be adept at context-switching
  • Working understanding of HTML and CSS

Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of React
  • Experience with Material UI
  • Experience with Sitecore or enterprise web content management tools
  • Experience with Webflow and/or similar tools for prototyping and animating
  • Animation experience in Adobe After Effects or similar, with output for web
  • Storybook experience is a plus
