Wholesale Account Executive
Wholesale Account Executive
Our Client - Consumer Goods company
- Remote
Job description
Wholesale Account Executive | W2- Remote | 20-35hrs/week
Our client is a craft cocktail company who specializes in bitters, syrups, cocktail kits and more in their own production facility.
"We've won nine Good Food Awards, and you'll find us at Whole Foods and World Market as well as behind the bar at a few thousand bars, restaurants, and fine bottle shops nationwide."
They are looking for someone to own direct wholesale business. You'll be the voice their accounts when customers place orders, the person who makes them feel taken care of, and the reason they come back.
This is a part-time role, 20-35 hours per week, with real flexibility in how you structure your days. Hours grow as the book grows, and there's meaningful bonus upside tied to results you can see and control. If you want work that matters to a small company without a 50-hour week attached to it, this is that.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage our shared wholesale inbox as the primary point of contact for accounts placing orders
- Process orders accurately and track them through our systems - which include Trello and Monday.com
- Build relationships with existing accounts so they reorder consistently
- Reach out to bars, restaurants, liquor stores, and gifting accounts to open new business
- Reactivate accounts that have gone quiet
- Flag fulfillment and payment issues early
Qualifications/Skills
- Strong written communication and a warm, professional phone presence
- Comfort managing many accounts at once and keeping details straight
- Self-directed, since you'll be running this without daily supervision
- Basic comfort with a CRM or project management tool (we'll train you on ours)
Food and beverage or specialty retail experience is a plus, not a requirement. If you're organized, personable, and genuinely care whether a customer comes back, we want to hear from you.
Company Benefits/Perks
- Flexible scheduling and remote-friendly work
- Monthly performance bonuses of $500 to $2,000 based on revenue
- Quarterly bonus for keeping accounts active and reordering
- Hours increase as your book of business grows
- Generous employee product discount
- Direct access to the CEO and real influence over how the role is built
- Work for a WBENC certified woman-owned business that people are proud to represent

Screening Questions
- Tell us about an account or customer relationship you built over time. What did you do specifically to keep it alive, and where is it today?
- Describe how you organized your day in your last role where you managed both incoming requests and outbound outreach. What did you do when the inbox was full?
- What's the largest book of business you've personally managed, in accounts and in annual revenue? What was it worth when you inherited it and when you left?
- We'd rather have one account that orders eight times a year than eight accounts that order once. If you had a promising lead you suspected would buy once and disappear, what would you do?
- This role pays $28 to $30 an hour plus monthly bonuses of $500 to $2,000 for hitting revenue targets, and a quarterly bonus for keeping accounts reordering. What questions do you have about how those targets work?
