Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Workday System Analyst on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Workday HCM functional areas, including core HCM, absence, benefits, compensation, business processes, and security
- Troubleshoot, develop, and maintain integrations within the Workday integration platform
- Build and debug custom reports, EIBs, connectors, document transformations, XSLT, calculated fields, BIRT, and Workday Studio components
- Collaborate with integration teams within a highly integrated system environment
- Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing to ensure system functionality and quality
- Maintain system integrity, including documentation, application updates, system upgrades, and user changes
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including onsite, offshore, and leadership, to deliver high-quality solutions
- Follow established change management processes and assess impacts to the broader application landscape
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional design specifications
- Support full lifecycle Workday implementations and ongoing system enhancements
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience working with the Workday platform in a Business Systems Analyst or development capacity
- Strong experience with Workday implementations and integration platforms, including ERP and third-party system integrations
- Hands-on experience configuring Workday features such as user roles, permissions, custom objects, page layouts, custom fields, calculated fields, validations, and business processes
- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills in fast-paced environments
- Ability to assess cross-functional and downstream system impacts with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
Preferred Qualifications:
- Workday Pro Certifications in Integrations and HCM
