We are seeking a Workday Integration and SQL Specialist on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role will support the creation and integration of data to meet the workforce planning needs of hourly associates and managers. You’ll be focused on creating more granular labor planning and allocation projections that provide the right level of detail to more effectively staff an hourly workforce against variable intra-day needs. You’ll consider the needs of the operators to build end-state tooling to track the effectiveness of these hourly projections against actual labor to identify further areas of improvement. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Building queries with cross-functional partners to redesign the labor allocation system into more granular dayparts (hourly, shift-level)
- Integrating hourly labor allocation data into Workday
- Developing a system to track and analyze hourly staffing effectiveness
- Identifying and implementing strategies to increase staffing accuracy and effectiveness
- Tracking progress against key business objectives including hours scheduled, hours used, and hourly labor efficiency
- Streamlining processes when optimizations are available
Qualifications:
- You have experience with Workday’s labor planning functionalities
- You have advanced SQL experience, and are familiar with data architecture, table construction, and data flows
- You have exceptional data manipulation and visualization experience (Sigma/Tableau) and are proficient at (or a fast learner of) a variety of other tech platforms
- You are comfortable working across multiple projects, teams and priorities - and hitting deadlines
- You are process driven
- You excel in getting to a low-level of understanding and driving operational improvements accordingly
- Experience with an operations environment in manufacturing or warehousing is a huge plus
