Our Customer is seeking a Workplace Associate on a contract basis to help support their ongoing business needs. This role is on-site in Atlanta, GA.
The Workplace Associate provides comprehensive workplace management services to create a best-in-class experience while supporting routine facility operations. As the first point of contact at Reception, this pivotal role delivers authentic service experiences that strengthen the bond between the company, its clients, and its guests. The position involves continuous monitoring of facility conditions, procurement management, work order coordination, and welcoming employees with genuine hospitality. This role maintains smooth operations through exceptional customer service, thoughtful administrative support, and execution of duties to the highest professional standards.
Responsibilities:
- Create a comfortable, welcoming, and hospitable environment for employees and guests
- Handle internal and external communications, including monitoring main phone lines
- Anticipate client and employee needs to deliver memorable workplace experiences
- Support workplace management daily operations and tactical planning
- Provide facility-specific assistance to project management teams
- Schedule, coordinate, and communicate maintenance activities
- Manage internal and building work order systems and process invoices
- Monitor office and facility conditions continuously
- Ensure appropriate follow-up with employees, guests, and stakeholders
- Direct vendors and service providers to ensure effective coordination of work
- Assist with meeting and conference room reservations
- Manage visitor registration and access compliance systems
- Execute emergency response plans to ensure safety when required
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and break areas
- Monitor and stock kitchen supplies including snacks, drinks, and utensils
- Order kitchen supplies and coordinate equipment repairs as needed
- Organize incoming mail, courier services, and package deliveries
- Manage outgoing mail and overnight shipments
- Administer badge access and office security systems
- Support budget requests, reporting, and analysis
- Follow health, safety, and compliance guidelines
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong customer service and hospitality skills
- Ability to remain professional in high-pressure situations
- Strong planning, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience using work order or CMMS systems such as Corrigo
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with a collaborative mindset
- Advanced Excel skills for administrative reporting
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree in facilities management, building management, business, or related field
- Experience in facility or property administration
