  • Make objective and analytically sound investigative findings, providing recommendations and advice on corrective actions and potential organizational changes.
  • Draft detailed investigation reports, as well as related correspondence and documentation.
  • Interact and communicate effectively with individuals involved in the matter, as well as managers and HR teams supporting those individuals during and after the investigation.
  • Prepare executive summaries and provide investigation updates to executives and senior leaders.
  • Apply objective empathy in conducting investigations to maintain fairness and cultural alignment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preference for candidates who have a J.D. and/or formal certification from the Association of Workplace Investigators, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, or other relevant organizations
  • Minimum of 5 years of investigative experience, preferably in a private or publicly traded company, or equivalent case management, fact-finding, and analytical experience as a lawyer.
  • Strong preference for candidates who are practicing lawyers, with a background in employment law and/or employee relations.
  • Experience working across multiple jurisdictions or countries.
  • Ability to conduct fact-based investigations with impartiality and analytical rigor.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presenting findings.
  • Ability to summarize complex information clearly for varied audiences, including senior leadership.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity in applying investigative processes in alignment with organizational values.
