Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Workplace Technology Engineer on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is hybrid (onsite 3 days a week) in Sunnyvale, CA or Atlanta, GA.
This role will contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Archibus IWMS platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in IWMS systems, specifically Archibus, and possess a strong background in software engineering, data integration, and system optimization. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of the platform.
Our Customer leverages Archibus which is a leading Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) that provides comprehensive solutions for optimizing the built environment. The platform integrates data, roles, and goals to help the company enhance performance, forecast needs, and ensure safety for employees and visitors. With modules covering Portfolio Management, Space Management, Capital Projects, Maintenance Management, Asset Management, Sustainability and Risk, and Workplace Experience, Archibus supports enterprise-level organizations in managing their real estate portfolios and improving workplace strategies.
Responsibilities:
- System Implementation and Integration:
- Implement and configure Archibus modules to meet organizational requirements.
- Integrate Archibus with other enterprise systems, including AutoCAD, BIM, and other data sources.
- Ensure real-time data synchronization between Archibus and connected systems.
- Maintenance and Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Archibus platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the platform and its integrations.
- Perform regular system updates and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Develop and manage data models to support various modules, including space management, asset management, and maintenance management.
- Create and maintain real-time visual reports and dashboards to provide insights into operational efficiency and strategic planning.
- Customization and Development:
- Customize Archibus modules to align with specific business needs and workflows.
- Develop and implement new features and functionalities to enhance the platform's capabilities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- User Training and Documentation:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure effective utilization of the Archibus platform.
- Develop comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience working with IWMS platforms, specifically Archibus.
- Proven experience in software engineering, system integration, and data management.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and other related technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, SQL, and Python.
- Strong understanding of database management and data integration techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud-based IWMS solutions and mobile applications
- Knowledge of compliance and risk management practices.
- Certification in Archibus or related IWMS platforms.
